The Art of Highlighting

Eddie was first inspired to become a stylist as a young child while attending a photo shoot his Uncle was in charge of. Little did he know at the time what amazing opportunities becoming a second generation stylist would hold. That inspiration would lead Eddie to open a successful full service 20 chair salon and spa at 21 years old. He didn’t stop there. Within 3 years of opening, he created a full product line and went on to produce a makeover TV show which ultimately led him to be recruited by several brands. He became a platform artist representing some of the biggest brands in our industry, including Big Sexy, CHI, Wella, Matrix, All-Nutrient, SHE Hair Extensions and OnStage Hair Extensions. In addition, he has had the honor to work alongside and be mentored by a number of industry legends, including Nicholas French, Ian Gavet, Sacha Quarles, Paul Smith, Michael O'Rourke, Nick Arrojo, Sonya Dove, Bernard Ory and Farouk to name a few. While being on stage at hair shows was fun, Eddie found his true passion for the industry in education and business. The challenge of testing products and developing educational programs to help stylists learn how to successfully use those products was really what got him hooked. Eddie has built an incredible teaching foundation over the past 25 years that has motivated and inspired thousands of next generation stylists.
